Who You Are / Your Next Challenge
We have a great opportunity for an Onboarding Executive to join our Financial Institutions Group (FIG) team at our Victoria Office in London.
The successful candidate will assist with compliance on-boarding duties including preliminary account checks and customer liaison related to documentation requests in regards to Financial Institution Group (FIG) customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Run preliminary checks on prospective clients, including adverse media, PEP & Sanctions and ownership structures. Escalate and report on adverse results.
- Ensure CDD documents received are in line with requirements as per procedures.
- Conduct full account reviews on prospective clients, report and request outstanding documentation.
- Follow the robust processes in place to review new customer on-boarding applications, ensuring all procedures are adhere to.
- Ensure account procedures are strictly adhere to in readiness for approval.
- Conduct full account reviews on existing clients as per the CDD/KYC account review cycle.
- Ensure legal attestations documentation are in place as per conditions of trading.
- Manage and maintain a log for outstanding attestations, promptly report and escalate to senior management missing attestations.
- Act as a liaison to respond and provide external requests for documentation including compliance questionnaires and other CDD documentation requested that is relevant to establishing the commercial relationships.
- Manage and follow up for outstanding documentation for prospective clients and existing relationships.
- Assist with client monitoring post approval where required, including transactional behavior and addressing deviations to expected flows.
What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role
- Experience in a Customer Service/middle office role would be great, but not a necessity if
- Strong knowledge of AML rules
- Keeps up to date with the market
- Able to build effective professional relationships
- Effective report writing at a level suitable for executive dissemination
- Able to work under pressure
- IT proficient
- Clear communicator
- Attention to detail

Please note: This is position is full-time, permanent. The role is expected to be office-based in London. however, we have an agile flexible working policy which enables you to work up to 2 days from home if desired.
