Who You Are / Your Next Challenge
We are currently looking for a Risk Analyst to join our Risk and Compliance on a full-time and permanent basis. This exciting opportunity is based in our Coventry office, and the role directly reports to the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer, Bank.
The Risk Analyst will be responsible for identifying and analysing the areas of potential risk threatening the assets, earning capacity, or success of the organization in the financial services sector. They will use predictive analytics, risk assessment tools, and strategic planning to mitigate and manage risks and ensure the company's financial security and compliance with regulations.
What we’re looking for / Skills that will help you in the role
- Some experience in a risk management or related role in a Financial Services Company
- Risk assessment, attention to detail, problem-solving
- Clear strong communications skills, both written and verbal
- Outstanding analytical abilities, with an enquiring mind
- Robust, capable of clearly and strongly articulating position
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at varying levels of seniority
- IRM or other Risk Management qualification (or equivalent)
- Experience of financial industry regulatory compliance environment
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and work in a fast-paced environment, catering to a diverse mix of stakeholders with varying needs. Therefore, the ideal candidate should be a self-starter, as there is an opportunity to make an immediate and tangible contribution to the business.
Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position with an opportunity to work hybrid within Risk based in our Coventry.
