With our extremely rare single IBAN multi-currency account, we are able to assist with a variety of different payment needs, including business payment solutions, personal payments abroad (for example buying a property), travel money, as well as the ability to offer interest on deposits. Supplementing this, we also support the global supply chain of wholesale banknotes through our Financial Institutions Group (FIG) and partnership with the US Federal Reserve Bank, to build deeper payment relationships with international banking customers.
It is through obtaining our own banking and payment licenses, the acquisition of two banking platforms and access to 16+ liquidity providers that we are able to proposition a trailblazing FinTech payment infrastructure that simplifies our customer’s diverse business needs and reduce their costs. Who You Are / Your Next Challenge
We’re seeking a driven and experienced sales Account Executive to identify and close high-quality new business opportunities. This role requires an individual who can prospect, target, and convert leads, while establishing long-term relationships with clients. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of solution-based selling and demonstrate expertise in the foreign exchange and risk management sector. This position is ideal for a proactive, results-oriented professional with a passion for helping clients navigate the complexities of international payments and currency risk
What we’re looking for
New Business Development
- Proactively identify, originate, and close new business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Conduct thorough market research to target, segment, and penetrate high-value sectors.
- Maintain a structured sales pipeline to consistently achieve quarterly sales targets and objectives.
Solution Selling & Market Ownership
- Apply solution-selling approaches to assess client needs and deliver customized FX and payment solutions.
- Own a target market segment, developing a robust understanding of market trends and specific client needs within that segment.
- Effectively differentiate Moneycorp solutions and value propositions to position the company as the preferred choice for foreign exchange solutions
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, understanding their buying personas and decision-making processes.
- Identify and engage with different buying personas across departments, from treasury and finance to C-suite, tailoring communication and solutions accordingly.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building long-term relationships that support retention and growth.
Deal Management & Revenue Generation
- Oversee the entire deal lifecycle, from initial client engagement through closing, ensuring alignment with quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless handoffs and high-quality service post-sale.
- Execute effective negotiation strategies, balancing client satisfaction with company objectives.
Credit Analysis & Risk Management
- Conduct credit analysis to assess client risk, collaborating with internal credit and risk teams for approval.
- Demonstrate expertise in evaluating client creditworthiness, contributing to sustainable growth and mitigating potential financial risk.
Compliance & Regulatory Adherence
- Maintain a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements related to foreign exchange and international payments
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory standards, especially in areas of anti-money laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC).
- Collaborate with risk and compliance teams to uphold the highest standards of operational integrity and client security.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications in financial markets or FX are advantageous.
Knowledge and Experience:
- Experience in foreign exchange, international payments, or financial services, with a proven track record in business development and sales.
- Results-driven with a solid history of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in FX and international payments, particularly AML and KYC.
- Proven expertise in foreign exchange, international payments, and financial services, with a strong track record in business development and sales, both over the phone and in person
Skills:
- Proven ability to execute solution selling approaches, with the ability to understand and address complex client needs
- Skilled communicator adept at engaging various buying personas, from finance and treasury managers to executives, with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
- Strong credit analysis and negotiation skills with experience in working with international risk and credit teams.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team and work in a fast-paced environment, catering to a diverse mix of stakeholders with varying needs. Therefore, the ideal candidate should be a self-starter, as there is an opportunity to make an immediate and tangible contribution to the business.
Please note: This is a full-time, permanent position with an opportunity to work hybrid within Corporate Sales team based in our London office.
